How to delete publishers or zones
You can delete one or more publishers from the main Publishers section. Similarly, zones can be deleted from the section of the publisher to which they are assigned.
Deleting a zone makes the ad items assigned to it accessible only via the AdButler API; you will no longer be able to see and interact with those ad items in the AdButler dashboard. The zone's campaign and channel assignments will also be permanently removed. Deleting a publisher will apply those same consequences to ALL the zones assigned to it. Finally, users who had dashboard access to a publisher will no longer be able to log in once that publisher has been deleted.
We recommend archiving publishers and zones instead of deleting them unless you are absolutely sure that you no longer need those elements. Archiving deactivates the chosen element and removes them from the table of created publishers or zones. But it is an easily reversible process that preserves the archived element's contents.
Deleting a publisher
- Go to the main Publishers section (Your AdButler > Publishers).
- In the table of publishers, click on the checkbox beside the name of the publisher or publishers you want to delete.
- Click Delete at the bottom of the table. A confirmation window will appear.
- Click Remove Publisher(s) Permanently.
Deleting a zone
- Go to the section of the publisher to which the zone is assigned (Your AdButler > Publishers > Your Publisher).
- In the table of zones, click on the checkbox beside the name of the zone or zones you want to delete.
- Click Delete at the bottom of the table. A confirmation window will appear.
- Click OK.
