How to create a product catalog for ProductDB
Make sure that your database file contains the required data as well as any information that you want to use to search and filter products.
- Go to the section of the relevant publisher (Your AdButler > Publishers > Your Publisher).
- Click Others on the top right, then click Product Catalog. The Product Catalog page will appear.
- Click New Product Catalog.
- Click Select File or drag and drop the file into the window to upload your CSV file.
- Under Label, enter a name for the catalog, then assign the relevant columns to the required fields.
Make sure to assign the correct column to each required field. Once you've created a catalog, you will not be able to edit these assignments. Further, a publisher can have only one catalog, and you cannot delete an existing catalog.
The Extra Fields list at the bottom of the window shows the names of the columns in the database. When you select a column in Required Fields, its name will disappear from the list.
- Click Continue. The catalog will appear in the Product Catalog page with its state indicated as SETUP.
- When the catalog's state has changed to IMPORT, you can start using it to create ads. It usually takes only a few minutes for AdButler to finish setting up your catalog, although it may take longer if you uploaded a large database.
